GH is in a tricky situation now.. there's some serious thought gunna have to be given to this/next seasons squad. There's no doubt they want Eastwood for next season.. but it leaves us a tad short for this year. It shall be interesting to see how it develops.
We already had space before this Eastwood situation. As expressed by GH before season started. Enough to sign a quality player if he becomes available through the season.
By that judgement you must have been looking at something up to £100k. With Eastwoods money now not been used, and the potential that Smith could be released early, we must be looking at upwards to £250k available on the cap.

In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. I don't think we actually need him this season.
The emergence of Kirke as a very good player, and the current form of Ablett means we have more than adequate cover in that position should we need it. You can also stick Worral there when he's fit, he's steady away IMO.
Wemberlee, Wemberlee, We're the famous Carlisle United and we won at Wemberlee
