I am picturing Meli as Uncle Rico from Napolean Dynamite.
Sincerely hope this gets resolved soon. I know he is not everyone's favourite player but it's not like there are teams of class wingers waiting to take his place.

True, if he wanted to come back he'd make a fuss out of it. We haven't heard a word from Meli himself.

Agent Mulder wrote:Back on topic again -- I was just reading in today's league weekly that Wakefield are hoping to get news this week about the visa for Frank Winterstein who they signed last month. It says the deadline for responding to applications is due to pass on Tuesday. It also says the 28 day time frame form replies is one the visa authorities put on themselves. Now I know that there has been a back-log of application replies - but do you think it is quite possible that we might hear something this week about Meli.

Thank the lord for that.
What state he will be in physically and mentally to play at this stage is somewhat in doubt.
I would have thought he might be ready for the cup game in a couple of weeks, but it may be pushing it to throw him in this Friday. Depends on fitness and Jetlag.
