I believe you can play up to nine players per game over the age 21 in the reserves league.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

From the RFL website;

Quote:Up to a maximum of eight players who are over the age of 21 may be included
providing they are registered with the clubs First Team Squad (Super League 25,
National League 30). However, Super League may include up to three players who
are Contract Registered in lieu of First Team squad members regardless of their age.
For the avoidance of doubt a minimum of 9 players must be under the age of 21 as at
the 31st August prior to the start of the season.

If theyre not getting a game for the first team what should they do? Whinging about not having competition for places and now he have it its stopping other players playing. Laughable no wonder the rest of the league laugh at people on here.

I will take that as a direct response to me.

No-one is whinging about competition for places - why would they?

But the point I was making is don't get too excited by that scoreline as we had "first team" players in the side. The first team players will be keeping some of the Juniors out of the reserve side and some lads wont even get a game.

Since last year it became a full fledged reserve league again (for the first time since 2001), and is open age. The Academy league (Under 18s) starts first weekend in April.

Cheers, but i'd seen that already. Was hardly the most descriptive report so was wondering whether anyone had turned up early to see how mathers, smith and goulding had responded to being dropped. Always a good test of a player's character.
