My opinion on this matter is hat I really do not care who did what or who said what in Florida or anywhere else for that matter. It is no business of mine or anyone else what went on unless you were actually involved in what happened. We have all been told one story or another from freds sister or joes mum etc but the truth of the matter is we dont really know what happened, these people will only tell you what they want you to hear. We can all think we know the truth but the truth is we dont. My views on tantrums and spitting dummies out still stands but I personally think there is a lot more to this than we know about.

The people who are saying Alker has thrown a tantrum and got his own way may well be correct I dont know but they also sound very much like spoilt children who because they havnt been given all the gory details of who said what and who did what to who now need to look for something else to complain about.

I have come to the conclusion after watching Salford for more than 40 years that our fans are only happy when they can have a good moan. If we won everything in sight they would be moaning because they had nothing to moan about.

At the end of the day I dont care who is or is not captain all I care about is my team and if that means the clu doing things I dont always agree with I will still get on with my job which is supporting my team no matter what and that is what the rest of true Salford fans will be doing.

Maybe we should try putting as much passion into supporting the team as certain people do in booing the team and keyboard moaning. Who knows you may start to like it.

Bleeding hell! That was the point I was making. If it was innocent until proven guilty, he would never have been stripped of it in the first place.

Quite good to note this saint hood around Alker now, he was given some terrible stick last year at times, even booed by some when he was being brought off during the Wakefield cup tie.

YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY CAPTAINS AS YOU LIKE BUT ITS ONLY PAPERING OVER THE CRACKS TAKE FROM THAT WHAT YOU WANT

Right get your point now, but they aint gonna keep him as captain while they investigate are they it aint how its done no more though is it, they have ,( the club ) done the wrong thing in the way they have handled the whole affair, and gave a few people the wrong impresion of what went on, so lets get on with what we do best and support our great club, SALFORRRRRRRRD. Seems to me that Player Power has won and that is very, very sad. We shall have to see now whether there is unity and I will be watching 4 players in particular to see how they react to the new arrangement.

Tall Red I think we all know where your feelings lie on the subject but are you seriously suggesting the club took action first, stripped him of the captaincy then held an investigation? Bit like the police giving you a jail sentence then looking into the matter.

I'm sorry but this has made the Salford club look feeble. The club did their investigation, took action and should have stood by their decision.

Player power should not be the over riding power.

If there was any doubt about the conduct it should have remained behind closed doors, gossip mongers such as Barker should have been told to with hold information until such time as the club were ready to discuss the matter. This should not have been conducted in the public arena.

Only Parker has come out of this with his head held high.

Alker has ruined and tainted his legacy for me.

This season just get worse.

As you have eluded to , different players will have told individuals THEIR side of the story (as we all do, no matter if we are right or wrong), Maybe we should be putting a lid on this now & lets have some decent rugby played, win or lose I will be happy if they play together as the team.
