Call that 845 ,,,2 of us in the west with the Hullers
WIGAN RLFC IS MORE THAN A RUGBY CLUB - IT'S A RELIGION There will always be a Wigan Warriors no matter what the bitter & twisted blues say

He had no gripe against Wigan in particular, he was merely stating that away support across the league is poor in comparision to both Hull clubs.
Like I say, I didn't want to offend anyone as I hope you all come in numbers to our place.
So your chairman can't count.

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

why would he want to know how many wigan fans came over?
i'd take hull fcs' media managers word over grudghills
What is this whole thing about away support really?
There are 6 clubs who have the best away support-
Wigan
Leeds
Hull KR
Wire
Saints
Hull FC
The amount the take varies on where the game is, or what night its on.
We take the most to Wire and Saints and have taken more than anyone else to Leeds and Bradford over the last 2 years, we also filled the away end at Hull FC in the play-offs 2 years ago.
Hull KR will take more to the clubs closest to them, and mainly because the fans get excited when they win a game because the expectations are low.
Credit to Wire fans as they underachieve every season but still turn up.
Leeds are good around yorkshire, but average anywhere else.
Saints bring quite afew to our place and Wire and decent in Yorkshire.
Hull FC pretty much the same as Hull KR but higher expectations maybe.
Form, place, time and climate should all be taken into consideration.
And one last thing, who gives a tosss, we should care about the rugby and everyone should care about the home crowds, as that is what will take the game forward.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
