Especially when you think of some of the rubbish we have had playing for us during certain periods and some of the sh*t holes we had to go to. The man deserves a medal!!
On the point about games in a season you can see why without the M62 we chose our away games carefully back in the seventies I only went to 7 or 8 a year but we played plenty of games as well in fact in 1971/72 although we had a poor season we played 47 games!!!
