Can`t recall Bradford signing or either trying to sign anyone who has been done for sexually assaulting anyone.
Catalans have signed someone who may have assaulted someone, but not sexually so why just point towards us and not them?

In fairness, good player as he is, if he were banned from the NRL for reasons of delinquency, I would not welcome seeing him in Super League, with Leeds or anyone else.
If he's banned from the NRL, with the cap space from Eastwood and we had extra space as we were close to signing Soliola, just maybe. But even if we did he probably wouldn't get a visa.
errrrrrrrrrm Eastwood and others have been stopped from coming into the country due to criminal convictions etc. So if Watmough does get charged wouldn't that be a criminal conviction?
Would be a great signing, though I doubt we’d get him if he’s convicted and banned from the NRL.

I don't think there's any real question of a criminal conviction. It might be more a case of the NRL taking umbridge at mistreatment of their sponsors (doubt there'll be mre than a reprimand in it anyway). The thing that would bother me about it isn't the concern that he's a bad apple or that he shouldn't be allowed in the country, it's more the principle of having more players coming here who come solely and only because they can't get a gig in the NRL. That is not the way to improve Super League IMO.

winning like never before. decoys. mouse traps. chicken wings. lollie pops. shepperds. the crusher. grapples. big league. In 1935 The Dragon Slayers as they were known defeated Canterbury bulldogs 91-6, which is still the biggest win in the Club's History. In 1907, the St George district had a club in the Sydney rugby union competition. Interestingly, the team's area was referred to as the 'Illawarra suburbs'. A resolution to form a St George rugby league club was made at a local meeting held in early 1908, but the movement faltered and collapsed. St George, wearing the district colours of red and white, played in the NSWRL's Third Grade competition in 1910, and formed a President's Cup team in 1911. References were found at the time to district teams being called 'The Saints'.the perfect 11
Watching the Footy show on Setanta last night and it appears that Watmough will be discplined in house by Manly and that will suffice looks like no ban will be imposed by NRL .

He's their campaign pin up and it's more to do with him being out sh#t faced and bringing the game into disrepute than it is to do with the pending investigation.
