When I was watching the highlights of the game last night, I heard Eddy and Stevo complain about Hull's shirts name and number. They said that the fans in the Stadium deserve to see who is holding the ball, and they can barely see it from a close up camera.
I was with the many Hull fans in the Stadium last night and not once did I hear anybody complain about them. Eventhough I am still have youngish and have a pretty good eyesight, I thought they weren't as bad as Eddy and Stevo made them out to be.

Didnt look good on TV, dont think the flood lights helped with the shine Should be black i think, though would this spoil the overall subtlety of the kit?
you can see where they are coming from though, we know who are players are, if you're a neutral watching the game on tv it wasn't the clearest but nowhere near as bad as warringtons'
The white numbers are fine imo, stevo is just a penis
Craig Bellamy: "We're not boxers, we're footy players, and we've got to keep reminding ourselves of that. We're not too worried about getting bashed, believe me. We've got Michael Crocker."
Yeah I heard that comment on the replay. I could see perfectly fine at the ground, but can totally understand his POV in relation to TV viewers I guess. Couldn't really see any numbers when they zoomed out a little. Just a white blur.
We obviously are trying to go for a nice subtle look, but I do think maybe they should be black numbers, if only for the sake of TV viewing.

Just black bordering around the white number would be better.

Thought the comments were spot on actually, I went to the game and couldn't see the numbers, only recognised our players by being familiar with body shape/movement. Watched it on sky+ and the names/numbers are poor, should either be in black or edged in black for those not familiar with our team. Sort it JR

Coventry are playing Chelsea in similar colours to us last night.
They are wearing Black numbers. I thought our names and numbers last night were hard to pick out.
