And who would you play centre if Gilmour was injured?

Great avatar.
And thus, the weakness of our backline is exposed.

Like Ski said with a couple of injuries we look weak in the backline.
Is Chris Dean fit ? if he is then him or Foster I would say should play centre as that is there position.
Wheeler is a Standoff and I guess he is a the number 1 backup standoff for us so he should fill that roll

Wheeler was tipped pre season as the next great hope at centre.

You're still assuming another injury (to gilmour) will occurr.
Whilst I conceed we do have a thin squad, alot of teams would struggle with the number of missing players we have.
Meli, Pryce, Eastmond, Flannery (can play in the backs).

As Ski mentioned, great avatar. I've sat here for ten minutes trying to fathom what possible context the original picture could have? Why would said woman be desperately reaching for flying sausage?
Leeds rested 13 of their starting 17 against Cas last year, and still won. We are sitting ducks with only three or four out. Our lack of strength in depth is obvious.

It is a fair assumption. The guy disappears for a time every match, and not because he is being spelled.

Out of all of them, I trust one at centre. 'Appen his ego is too big for him to stand aside for the good of the team.

What if he isn't on the bench?

True, I was thinking of the most like-for-like replacement in the squad.
