Its a big ask for a centre to chase back to get into position for a scoot on the back of a kick return. Its far easier for a winger to come in and do the work as they have already dropped back.

Tom Briscoe is the best Three quarter prospect we have had in this country for a long time.
I wonder if boots and all give him as much coverage as they did Penny (who is rubbish) a few years ago
