Yes we did give them a major touch up tonight but I do hope the lad survives and the players, board and fans support him cos he will make a good coach, and at least one with a sense of humour.
Not for me. hot head as a player with no respect, hot head as a coach will recieve little respect from the players, he may have been a very good player but i don't think that will help him.

Still find it unbelievable that Steve Ferres wanted us to replace Tony Smith with Lowes all those years ago? Thank God he said no and fan-power got John Kear in the frame.

That was a pretty good banner you Warrington fans did. What a pity you couldn't devote more time to supporting your team.
Will you guys be saying that if you get to a Challenge Cup semi-final and the playoffs if Lowes is still there by then?
I think not.
to be honest i dont really derive a lot of pleasure from seeing the wire fans in their current predicament, it's a position we as a club are never that far away from. we could easily have ended up with lowes and gone down never to return in '06. i will never forget that kear interview on the superleague show when we were fannying around deciding whether to sign him or not. i didn't realise the enormity of it at the time but where would we be without him now? foook knows! it's not their fault their club is insistent on paying big money to certain individuals and seemingly disregarding team spirit etc. i half hope they recover, but not at the expense of us....

Me neither, Wire fans are among the best supporters in RL and deserve better.
He may be a coach and a professional person but i heard the fans last night and thought Lowes was right in the context of what was given to him. The RESPECT code of conduct works both ways and if the crowd don't want to keep within that code then why should Jimmy Lowes. The lad was a great PRO and his clearly under pressure which again makes human beings act differently so if you didn't like the reaction then don't dish out the abuse

Part and parcel of the rugby league game im affraid. Warrington fans probably sang it as well because they hate aswell ha ha

I dont get what youre referring to here, although i never do, are you suggesting a SL coach sticking two fingers up at opposition supporters is part and parcel or just the abuse the SL coaches recieve is part and parcel.

Would you say the same about a police officer or teacher or paramedic if they responded to verbal abuse in that way??
