He seems to have a great eye for player potential, getting the best out of players, and tactically he seems sound if not spectacular. Good win against Wire and the Bulls will be after Halley back now!

Yes and i base that on:
1. Kear being a coach who has the ability to get the best out of his players.
2. I watched England A V Australia from 2003 last night (Kear was coach) and what struck me was the enthusiasm of his players, they played a brilliant game with players getting deep and running onto the ball at pace, which was completely the opposite to what i saw at the WC.
You know I've always been a dreamer

I have said this for a while now, even prior to his exploits with Trinity, he has proven ability to.
1. Generate team spirit (something that cost us in the world cup)
2. Bring the best out of his team for 3/4 games in a row, which is basically all you need to be successfull at International level.
Regardless of his technical nouse the 2 qualities above are crucial for bringing a team together when they have such little contact time as a squad.
Unofficially the most boring poster on Cherry and White.

and so starts the club vs country argument....
and on this occasion id be quite happy to choose my club over the national side. kear is clearly doing an excellent job at the club and him being the national team coach would either see us lose him or seriously upset the applecart at BV
kears red white and blue are firmly nailed to the club mast....not the national teams mast

You have got to be kidding. JK is totally unsuited to international rugby. Defo need to look elsewhere. Please.

Anyone remember England in the 2000 World Cup?
