Have to agree about our pack, they've surprised me with how they've got stuck in. Dowes is possibly in his best form for 3 years, Cusack seems to have an extra yard of pace from last season, and Tickle and particularly Radford were again immense tonight.
Not convinced Lee showed enough to retain a place though TBH.
With the new signings to come in, things look pretty positive at the moment. I thought tonight was an impressive team performance from 1-17. Dowes and Tickle were awesome again and I can't wait to see what sort of player Tom Briscoe is in 2 years' time. There's a touch of quality about almost everything he does and, when he irons out his occasional positional errors, he's going to be something a bit special.

Bound to happen every so often when he's playing on the wing, he keeps finding himself in centre's positions. If he was to get a run at centre I think that should help him with that.
If he continues as he is I'll be interested to see what happens when Raynor returns to fitness.

I have spoken with a few people who think we as a club need a top class centre and I have said we already have one - Tom Briscoe is the real deal for me - I will go so far to say he is the best youngster I have seen since 17 year old Shaun Edwards.
I leave it to you all to shoot me down in flames
Tickle has been at the very top of his game both with the boot and with the ball in hand. It's certainly a good position to be in with a couple of signings to come and an obvious hunger there for all to see. Have to agree about Briscoe, the sky's the limit for this lad.

Such a difference to last season, everyone playing their part from 1 - 17. Fitness looks good and can only get better with more matches under their belts. Seemed to be a lot more confidence from the boys tonite.
