Great performance. Alonso and Mascherano were magnificent as was Carragher as per usual. We may was well have had 10 men for the first hour as Torres was obviously hampered throughout. We scored and looked our most threatening without Torres and Gerrard on the field, so much for a one man team.
Still, Madrid were sh*t, United were brilliant and the refs were ace.

On the grounds that Real Madrid are in $h1t hot league form and Liverpool have been far from impressive, if you thought they would win in Madrid then well done. However can you give me the names and addresses of the 'half of Europe' that you know who also thought they would win

Very poor mans Robinho.
Where did I say he was 'no good'?
Robihno is better although you woudl never admit that because he plays for City. If you are a United fan then I can only assume that you rate Phil Bardsley higher than Robihno. After all some United fans called him 'world class' after his debut. Or a Liverpool fan who thinks that a midfielder who cannot pass the ball is one of the best players in the world.
I had already read it. It was put together by someone who moderates a City forum. It was a decent read, but I would disagree with a fair bit of it, although I don't know a City fan who would disagree with the No1 choice. But fair play to him for putting it together, he is a knowledgeable chap.

It put the typical, tabloid fed rumours to bed though about him resigning.
Personally, I wish he'd tell them all to fook off and mind their own business, but he'll never do that.

When did I say I expected us to win?
Is this the team that has lost 3 games all season, home or away?
I said I wasn't shocked that we did win.
As for "half of Europe", just find me a football fan who knows what he's talking about, that should do it. Clearly, that rules you out.
Benayoun still not good enough for Liverpool?

And you are using the knowledge of people who make predictions on this site to back up your claim.
