Hull have put together quite a few decent squads over the years. Unfortunately, they've rarely hired someone who had the faintest idea how to put one to good use.

The club are saying no. We had spare quota spot on top of the one for Crocker because of Adam Dykes retiring. More like he's a direct replacement for Carvell. That doesn't mean we'll get Crocker, but we do have the Cap and the quota spot for him if he gets the OK.

Kear is a bum. Sharp overachieved (although I can't hold that against him). Agar is probably a bum.
