There was one blinding try saver from Blaymire in the 2nd half which had he not made would have taken them to 12pts with 30 mins left. It was a game breaker although it left him limping. Also his ball handling was as sublime as ever.

Stosic was awesome again and we missed him when he went off for a rest but thankfully he and Wilkes had already laid a strong platform and completely overshadowed their 2 big props (Cashmere and Stapleton).
Great performances from Blanch and Atkins, 2 well taken tries each.
Good show from Halley again, always a willing worker.
Great effort from Tony Martin playing out of position.
Solid performance from Snitch and Ferguson.
Outstanding effort again from JD, he really does lead by example.
And Kevin Henderson, take a bow. Another very workmanlike and solid performance in attack and defence. Makes you wonder if he has been reading these forums and is out to prove a few people wrong.
Great post Fordy think you have it spot on.
thought Hendo was quality again yesterday. Would love to know how many tackles him & JD made yest.
Both seemed to be tackling hard and running it forward well.

Agree on Henderson, hes had his critics, but played extremely well yesterday.
Dont know how many tackles he made -- but the guy worked extremely hard.
Ive gone for tony martin , to say he was playing against an england international he didnt give myler a look in. In fact it was only when the half back partnership broke up with grixy going off injured that salford came to life or i think that we could have shut them out for the full 80 mins , however once grixy went off we were short of options & a lot more work went on to brad drews shoulders , which he handled well.

To be fair, the criticism was when he played at centre. I personally will stand by my belief that Henderson is a very poor centre but is a decent grafting S/R when needed. He is playing well and hats off to him but lets not get carried away just yet.
very difficult to choose especially everyones first half display. for me it is very difficult to choose but heres my top 3
3rd: Damien Blanch 2 very well taken tries and looked eager for more always trying to find the gaps on the wing
2nd: Brad Drew ran the game and continued his run of exceptional form looked good in defence and even better in attack. i saw him in the clubshop on Saturday and he said he was well up for the game and duly delivered showing that age is just a number and didnt look like the oldest player out there for wakefield.
1st: My MoM has to be Ryan Atkins. he was well up for the game. Like Blanch took 2 tries very well and was tackling exceptionally and looked like the player he was a few years ago wwhen we first signed him. i hope he can build on this form and if he can will without doubt be a candidate for player of the season for me.
ADAM WATENE- Gone but not forgotten.
You can take the lad out of yorkshire, but you cant take the yorkshire out of the lad
