what did you make of Dire tonight? I only managed 20-40mins and 60-80mins (kids - who'd have 'em?) but thought Wire looked promising in the first half before their customary implosion in the second half. Both sides lacks discipline but I thought Cat's combined power with quick play well to capitalise on a tiring side that lost their self control.
Warrington played well early on helped by a massive penalty count (correctly) in their favour.
Then we had amongst other things the Higham factor. All the things that he ballsed up at Wigan last year he did again (Although his passing was better, maybe that's next weeks problem).
He gave penalties away and he dropped the ball. Catalan capitalised.
IMO Wire wasted their money on Higham. A far better way forward for them would have been to move Monaghan into the hooking role and to bring in a good stand off.
Don't let the door hit you on the ar$e on the way out.
