Hollywood Harrigan wrote:Did anyone hear his convo with Bentham while Bailey was down? He explained himself and said that he wasnt having a go in the first half, its just how he expresses himself. Bentham replied with... "I know Kev but you have to understand that they (the supporters) cant hear what you are saying and can only see you pointing and having a go"

Then SKY turned the sound off

The finger wagging was well out of order, other than that a good captain's knock with controlling the refereeing of the game.

It must be frustrating as a player when calls go against you with very little coming your way and as someone else has already said, as a fan you would be a little worried if your players didn't show that. I believe the penalty count at one point was 9-2 to KR which is massive in tight games, in bad conditions. It's all about field position. I feel Bentham is easily swayed by home support, for example, the first HKR pen (which led to their try) was Diskin 'holding down'. Never was that holding down. He completes the tackle perfectly but the crowd noise increases and the whistle is blown. Now I'm pretty sure the failure at the world cup was partly due to the control the Aussies and Kiwis had at the ruck and play the ball and that tackle of Diskin was just the way they did it. Yet we want quicker and quicker play the balls.

The finger wagging was pointing at Hull KR wasn't it, not Bentham?

Regardless of who it was aimed at finger wagging, shoulder shrugging and outstretching arms when with or walking away from chatting with the official are disrespectful and a dangerous road to travel.

Had Ganson been stood there, it would have been yellow minimum and red to follow if it carried on.

As an example of this when Ganson binned Calderwood in the FE game last season he said, 'don't clap or the colour changes' and when binning Senior in the same incident 'don't say anything, you've been very lucky.'

Last night Sinfield weighed up his opponent but he'll need to be careful if he gets frustrated in the future.

Come 'ere 7 wrote:haha! 11 posts old on a fans forum so I obviously know nothing about the game of Rugby league. In my opinion, Kevin Sinfield is an average player at best. If that gets your back up then i'm terribly sorry.

You are entitled to your opinion, and as you said "I obviously know nothing about the game of Rugby League" what is also obvious is that you could have not have seen Sinfield play very much. Had you seen him show his many skills over the years you would understand why he is so highly rated by most fans, players and coaches

As captain he is entitled to ask for clarification of the refs decisions. As the video shows Bentham was taking Leeds back more than 10m and then penalising them while overlooking Hull KR offsides. In many cases Leeds were guilty but Mr Bentham had a one eyed approach. eg: He penalised Leeds for not having both feet touching the try line which you see every week from every team. Why did he only ping Leeds for this? Sinfield was polite to the ref and stuck up for his team and fans at what appeared to be bias. Peacock looked livid and had he been captain could have got a yellow card.

With the Leeds blinkers off I think Sinny could have, and on most days would have, handled himself better with the ref. He looked a little visibly too affected by some decisions which is a little out of character for his level head. The finger wagging was not acceptable, regardless of frustration levels or decision quality. This is rugby not football.

IMO Disko was lucky not have been given 10. On another night or with another ref I think he might have.

Happy to put it down to a bad day at the office for some but if it continues BC will need to enforce some discipline and stomp it out.

Hold up homie. If you're feeling froggy, Jump!
