We've lost our opening 3 games. It really is ONLY three games, and those games have been lost by 6, 8 and 6 points respectively.
If we'd been thrashed, and we were more games in, then yes. But not now.
If you lose next week though, you can probably say goodbye to a top 2 finish.
Wigan with more or less a full strength team should be beating Wakefield and Castleford at home.
I said the same thing last season, who is your team leader, since Noble arrived on the scene you never had one. This means there is a risk of one man rugby and no one (a la Farrell) to stand up and get the team going.

I think lenagan is going to worry to much about cost and will sack noble when the opportunity to get anywhere near silverware has gone
They were total scum how you can support them is out of this world, they treated Mike Gregory like he wasn't human I'm certain IL would not do the same. And as much as it hurts seeing our squad underperform the last thing I want is for Noble to be sacked right now, give him more than 3 games we have had big changes in key positions give them time to settle then start judging.

Wigan had four players missing last night.
Bailey and Richards were really missed.

As a neutral, and certainly those who know me and my views, know I'm no lover of Noble, but it seems as if the main thing missing from your squad is a decent goal kicker. Nobles mistake is trying to turn a previously skilful dynamic team into a second Bradford. He seems to be convinced that only big, tough, knock 'em down and roll 'em over players will come good for him and results. Sorry, but I am not a lover of this type of rl and I pays my money to see fast, skilful moves ....the sort we neutrals expected to see under your previous coaches. I would not, however, get rid of Noble just yet. Hopefully, someone higher up in the pecking order will show him some old vids of the way Wigan fans like their rl and you'll get back into promoting a lot more of your youth. I'm, sure if BN took a look round a few of the young amateur sides available to Wigan and had a bit of faith in today's youngsters, SL would see a bit more of the old Wigan. eg Wigan St Pats and others ........grannyfan Cindy HFC

Eight players who came through the academy were in last nights team.
How many were in Hulls last week?

Having four players missing is a poor excuse. Warrington had Gleeson,Clarke, Anderson,Reardon and Grix missing from the Saints match. We were beaten by the better team , fair play. With Wigan being the biggest club in Rugby League , with a great youth system these players should not be missed.

We are promoting youth yet we keep hearing about Saints are theirs? Roby and Graham in the last ten years? I reckon within the next 3 years we could have an entire team of academy produced players with 3 shipped in superstars. We wasting money on players like Bailey, Phelps, Coley when we have young lads in Tomkins, Ainscough and Prescott who can do the same job if not better and will show more pride and passion in the shirt!
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

It wasn't used as an excuse it was in reply to a post saying that Wigan were at full strength.
