Nice to see someone correctly interpretted the wink.
To be fair, if the promise of the City of Salford Stadium was just an elaborate hoax to gain entry to SL via the franchise system, we would've had to put in some serious forward planning ... as the plans were first announced in the late 90's.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

Looking forward to Gateshead coming to the LSV, with a massive 1,000 in your fancy new ground. Will look lovely and full.

You might as well enjoy OUR new ground - it's not like you are ever gonna get one of your own, is it??

Perhaps we will - maybe we'll become a feeder club for an SL team and get their town council to build a new ground that we're allowed to play in, just like you lot?!
And anyway, as I understand it, our directors were all set for building work to begin on the CIty of Salford Stadium last month ... until they bought a pie & a pint each at the LSV, leading to severe financial difficulties.
