How do you know this?
On thread drift:

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back! Oooh-to… Oooh-to-be… Oooh-to-be-a… WOOLY!
I recall saying in the dim and distant past about 4 years ago, and prior to Mac coming that we should have brought Sir Douglas back as Director of Football with James Lowes underneath him to blood him through.
This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.
I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.
Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
JUST out of curiosity, a vast majority was saying we wanted Kelly back a couple of days ago, IF you think, Neil Kelly did a job with us not many could do as im sure everyone will admit. Paul Cullen took wire from the utter B O LL OCKS of the Sl from the season they survived on the last day- ( or something like that ) to A top 6 team nearly every season, brought some fantastic talent in but unfortunatly it didnt gel and cest la vie.
My point being is that i think he would be a good appointment and i would welcome it. And... he had his half backs winning games week in week out with excellent kicking strategy etc. I thought id post a valid point although il get some ar se hole disecting each sentence and giving sarcastic replies

There is nothing Paul Cullen could add to that, except coach a winning senior side. That's all that's missing now. The only question is, can Paul Cullen do that?
Personally I have my doubts.
You're absolutely right and I came along to a few games last year and was really impressed with the whole set up (shame the RFL didn't do onsite inspections of facilities and community programmes plus match days as part of the licence process) . I didn't mean to imply that the club needed work in that direction, but rather that it was already well underway and ongoing.

cullen would do a top job for you he won't take you right to the top like we found out at wire but he will get the most out of the sort of players you've got in your squad and will prioritise bringing kids through as long as they are good enough...he'll take you into superleague in 3 years time with a strong squad and would be perfect for the first 3 or 4 years in superleague
and i for one would love to see him do well it would wipe the smile of the loser fans who booed him out of the club last year...as long as wids don't end up above us in super league
