Hull played Paul King, Thackray & Manu (thugs r us) they'd have killed Tomkins or Ainscough!
Noble's got it right!

And Wakefield? Wigan have to accept that they are now in the same category as the likes of Celtic and Salford, they have no god given right to win games, and have no easy games to throw in players who aren't ready for Super League. Games like Cas at home (and Wakey) will increasingly be real battles for Wigan, and they can't afford to keep dropping points against the other lesser sides. Wigan are a long way behind Saints and Leeds, and a fair distance behind the likes of Hull, Warrington, Cats, Huddersfield and Bradford.

Would this be the same Saints that lost at HKR, Casleford and Huddersfield last season, then scraped home with a late penalty v Wakefield.

Lets see how things are going mid season before making stupid assessments.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

LordLoveRocket87 wrote:Yeah i'd love to see them play, Sam's quality, he's fast, he's skillful, clever... He's exciting to watch - But what i'm saying is, Noble's right not playing him - He knows when to bring him in - He's not ready yet - You could see that at Warrington, he was a little ball greedy, and did a few stupid things - Even though he scored a hatrick.

It's debatable though i'll give you that - Because with Daz Goulding, he got offered a first team game, and look at him now - he's a first team regular at Number 3 - But then again, that wasn't with Noble at coach - And Noble is by far a better coach who knows what he's doing.

He won't be playing Ainscough or Sam against Cas, and if he does i'll be suprised - If you ask me, he should put them on loan, see how they do.

Loan wouldn't be a bad idea but is very unlikely to happen as someone mentioned IL said no-one would be going out on loan.

I am a firm believer of 'If your good enough, your old enough' and with the license system now is as good a time as there will ever be to give the lads a chance as there is nothing to lose. Ainscough has been praised by the aussies (which doesn't happen often so we know we have a talent) and even Stevie Wonder could see Sam's got talent
