I know I would definitely prefer the top team and don't think many would disagree as it is at least equal if not better to the 2nd side

So why does Noble play the 2nd one

I'd go for team one for a game or two but wouldn't want to expose sam and ainscough for the full season (yet).

Although So'L's had a good start I'd like to see him move to 2nd row alongside HH so HH can cover the defensive aspect and free up So'L to be more creative.

Also, drop MM for Riddell and start him with Tl on the bench.

Your team two is innacurate as Mathers is banned and Coley has been dropped from the team in favour of a young Wigan player, Mike McIllorum.

I look forward to Sam Tomkins playing in the super league but I think Smith, Leuluai and McIllorum all played too well last week to be dropped, Riddell has had a bad start but it would be daft to drop him just two super league games into his first season. Having said that if Riddell is injured next week I'd definitely want Tomkins to get a run out off the bench with Mike McIllorum starting at hooker. I also think next week is the time for Ainscough to make his first team debut assuming Phelps is out, he's definitely ahead of Pryce on form.

I think the OP was referring to the more generic Wigan team that Noble likes to play and I agree it is unfathomable that he continues to stick with the formula of experinece over youth, when at times youth is superior.
