On this subject Gareth is most certainly wrong, and some how see's it has pure coincidence that Smiths form dropped has his coaches used him as a scapegoat.

What am I wrong about DISA?
We have a difference of opinion on something subjective yet you feel confident enough to proclaim me wrong. Let's face it, you don't have a great track record of credibility round these parts so if my opinion differs to you there's prima facie evidence that I am probably right.
Oh, and my opinion of Smith's ups and downs just so happened to be shared by two people very well qualified to judge him, Tony Smith and Brian McLennan.

i do feel smith is very much a 'confidence' player. he needs to feel wanted,not the type pf player to be slaughtering in the changing room.
all players are different.some need persistant encouragment, others need a rollocking.

Hang on a second, does anyone have any evidence that Smith has ever been shown anything but encouragement or is this just revisionism making up things that nobody has mentioned before in Smith's three previous seasons?
Maybe, just maybe, Tony Smith knew what he was doing when he took him out of the full back role in 2006. maybe Smith put his arm around the kid and said "re-build your game in the reserves away from the pressure of the 1st team and we'll build you back up".
Maybe a genius like DISA would've kept him in the 1st team under the glaring spotlight and pressure whilst his game went to poop and the whinos fekkwitts were baying for his blood. That would've been encouraging wouldn't it.

Talking about being sick. My old man, who sits in the North Stand, said that Danny Allan was sick on the pitch a few times. I'm not surprised, he looked absolutley shattered, welcome to Super League my son!! Great defensive effort as well.
