From a Hull fan - I don't really think either side showed a great deal of promise last night, however in the end I think our superior fitness shone through and that was probably the difference between the two sides. I still think you'll be in the mix at the end of the season, at times last night you looked threatening on the attack and showed what your capable of, but imo you looked pretty disorganised and unfit. With about 20-25 minutes to go, I looked at your side and about 6-7 of them were bent over panting, and that would concern me if I was a Wigan fan.
We lost due to missing opportunities.
Hull made one good move all game and scored with R Horne.
Their main idea was hoof it and hope. Hope was realised when Roberts let the ball bounce. Although the pass from Tickle to Radford for his try was well forward that should teach players not to let bombs bounce.
Hulls 2nd try was from Smith's kick into touch on the full, they scored from the set.
Goulding was tackled hard by Yeaman when he might have scored similar with Tomkins. When Byrne knocked on we didn't score we dropped the ball from the scrum.
As more players got injured the more mistakes we made. Bailey shouldn't have gone out again but had to. Richards was injured as was Roberts, Bailey busted, Phelps hamstring & Riddell ankle gone!
We didn't complete one of last 10 sets (Noble).
God help us when we come up against a really big pack!
BTW where did they get Radford from MOM? G Horne by a mile for me!

For me, the two opportunities in the second half 20 mtrs out with six tackles in hand TWICE and we fail to get to the third tackle on both occasions..
Just clueless in attack!
Having watched the salford-septic game i was unpleasantly surprised at how more daring/creative they both were in attack... That isnt going to change too much with our current coach
A purple patch inspired on his home ground by man of the match WIGAN CAPTAIN Sean O’Loughlin produced three tries in an eight-minute spell just before half-time, and the GB Lions added two more after the break to maintain Smith’s 100 per cent record as Great Britain coach.

oh god no...
Seriously, i thought the welsh team spreaded the ball well, it has me puzzled as to why we dont throw wide as opposed to just going head first into the pack at almost every run...
Basic stuff surely?

yet your scores came from kicks and a suspision of a forward pass in the build upto your first try, you seemed to rely on kicks to richards on all your last plays, isn't that hoofing and hope? in the end fcs' fitness proved the match winner, your overseas signings from noble this season are very poor, riddell, a waste of space!
