Not true. There is certainly not as much traditional link work but it is still there and just as important.
When Smith was coming on last season he gave Barrett acres of space to work in with his distribution.
He is an out and out 7.
It's funny that in Oz, they still have a lot of players who are out and out 7's or 6's. We don't.

Anyone feel Tommy's distribution is painfully slow when he's at first reciever? It gives the opposition defence so much time to move up and smother the line.
