i have to say i thought gibson played very well. not as good going forward as watkins he was far better defensively. blanch, who i thought played very well, was a threat all night but ash really kept him in check. hopefully he can stay injury free and have a big season

Fekwits report....

The lad did OK. Nice early touch with a little chip kick into the in-goal that forced the position for Ali's try.

Busy defensively and with a bit more experiece would have made more of the break.

Took a big knock in the second half but stood his ground.

Not helped being played out of position IMO.............. 6/10

The game was ruined by Ganson who gave more penalties in the first 20 than Thaler did the whole game last week.

Defence was excellent again tonight 4 halves of rugby three without conceeding a try - pretty impressive.

Leeds were far from their best and a number of players looked out on their feet after 60 minutes - Smith was switched to wing to give him a rest and Donald played FB for the rest of the game.

Peacock, Smith, Kirke, Diskin and especially JJB had big games with good performances from Hall, Donald and Buderus who looked pretty lively to say he had played for 6 months.

Allan defended really well and should have scored from his break - his throwing up in front of us we could have done without but shows testiment to his spirit that he played the whole game when obviously not very well

Whilst the second try was a bit fortunate Leeds never looked like losing - Wakefield gave it everything with Drew and Atkins their best players.

Good game to win in difficult circumstances
I agree with all that.

I thought Allan played well especially in defence. At on stage in the seconded half he was completely out on his feet and then a few minutes later he first man in the tackle Ala Peacock style.

Yes had just taken a real heavy knock. Cant fault the lad for heart and effort. :)

Reasonable performance for this time in the season though I did feel our unforced errors did keep Wakefield in the game for far too long.

Nice to see Wakefield brought a few.........must have been due to the Wigan result! They obviously enjoyed the goal kicking...........though the cheer for the 2nd was a rather amusing delayed reaction.......I guess they can't help being a bit slow

Anyone got any injury news as we seemed a little banged up? :?

Granted we were playing two shit sides but not bad all the same.

Wakefield will probably be blaming anyone but themselves as per usual I guess but then they are a bunch of know nowt, badly done to fekwits anyway.

At the end of the day the simple facts are that you lot don't like people questioning your incorrect assumptions that Wakey are badly done to and never get the rub of the green on refereeing decisions. Evidence points to the contrary on this matter but it still doesn't stop you creating embarrassing petitions to have referees struck off.

Should anyone dare to question these insane thoughts then a ban is the order of the day. Likewise should anyone dare to disagree on anything pro Wakefield or agree with anything anti Wakefield. You have some decent fans but you have some real vile ones too where it seems anything goes.

For example, in response to DoubleAone putting a perfectly valid argument together he was met with this.

Snat Chunter wrote:no offence DoubleAhole but any chance you could take your face for a shiit and leave us in peace?

The troll Barry Clegg regularly posts offensive material yet this offensive material is left on there.

The reasoning is simple, it's because you don't see anything wrong with calling someone a dick head or a c*** but a wrong word against Trin and woe betide you.

It's a lack of brains on the part of the mods to be honest but we should help them not deride them.

If I was really so bothered about posting on the Wakefiled board I'd circumvent the ban, no problem. I know you're wrong and you know you're wrong but keep flexing your cybermuscles anyway.

Donald saw little ball and fluffed the only kick he had to field during his short stint at full back.

he dropped the bomb but took a great catch on the half volley from a kick

Glad to see Gibson playing well again for what time he had on the pitch.
Hopefully Kallum is ok though and the injury wasnt that bad.
