Sorry guys but where exactly is the international? Is it on Morley Street itself?
(I may have misread the last post, are you saying the international or the theatre is on Morley St?)
If it is on Morley street how far up and on what side? I know where the Kashmir is, and we usually park in Wilton St if we can or further along Wilton street and turn right (no idea what that's called.)

Head for the Kash' from the Alhambra and it's on the same road. Keep going up the hill for another hundred yards or so and it's on the right. It's on the corner of Manville Terrace and Morley Street.

Thanks for the advice guys our usual is Omars on Gt Horton St and it's usually OK/Good but wanted to tap into some local knowledge.
If you're going high budget then really I think Omar Khans (as I said above, end of Wilton Street, on Little Horton Lane, with back entrance from the Wilton Street Car Park) is a fine choice as it is a bit posher than your average and the food is more interesting and richer.
Otherwise deffo International but its nowhere near as 'posh'.

here's the curry thread. Just waiting to re-appear like many a saturday night Kash
when two opposite points of view are expressed with equal intensity, the truth does not necessarily lie exactly halfway between them. It is possible for one side to be simply wrong.

Really. Turn it upside down, tap it on the top and the sides and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Get a toothpick from the counter on your way in and make a chapatti flag for it.
I forget what I ordered to get one of those now. Something like a chef's special karahi, but I forget the actual name.

Yeah you can make a curry castle, I've done similar, although I can't remember what I ordered either. Pretty much any balti comes in a mini bucket and depending on the texture of the curry, you can make your castle.
As far as Omar Khan's go, I would agree it's nice, but I still think the International tops it for food. But yeah, it depends if you're wanting the place itself to look nicer and have all fancy napkins and stuff.
