All these top teams picking the best players and the others picking up the scraps.
It was the same with the seeding of the groups,what other "WORLD CUP" would have the top three teams in the same group.
No wonder the sports a joke in the eyes of people who don't follow it.

I think the tri-nations works better.
I know it will never happen but for a decent world cup I'd have Aus, NZ, England, France, PNG, a home nation teams, A pacific Islands team and lastly a place for one of the stronger up and coming nations. Would make no difference to the eventual top 3 but you may not see some of the beatings that are no doubt going to occur.
