So, this pre-season mallarky. How serious do we think our management are taking it?
I'm probably blowing this out of all context but, seeing that the..

Think Scotland is when it gets a bit more serious.

These games have been about putting miles in the legs ahead of the trip to Scotland IMO. Don't think any of them have been taken particularly seriously if you look at the team selections so far.

Well a 1-0 win at Dundee to kick the tour off, Conlon scoring.
A brief report from my mate who's up there says we did OK in the first half, but faded away after changes were made in the second. Wetherall and Jacobs both came on again towards the end, which shows we are still not there in terms of playing numbers, and worryingly Paul McClaren was stretchered off.

Yeah, I was just jesting!
I had a mate who's Dad went up. Said that we put in a real tough, steely performance and outplayed Dundee, which is very encouraging to see.
BTW, it's on Radio Leeds that we've signed Boulding! Which some people may see as negative considering how much the transfer saga has gone on with him trying almost every lower league club about this summer!
But the fact is he's a proven goalscorer and his signing can only justify how seriously we are taking the season ahead. It's an exciting signing, when he pulls on the claret and amber everyone will be behind him!

Yep, heard the Boulding news myself. Fantastic news if you ask me. Can't wait for the season to start. Pretty sure Rhys Evans will be the new keeper and apparently Milton Turner the trialist has looked very impressive so maybe we'll pick him up too. Things are looking very good indeed.
