As one of the users on this forum who recalls sponsored walks, administration, CVA’s, gates of 1400 etc. I’m enormously grateful to him for his hard work in helping to establish the club in SL.
Both parties are at a bit of a ‘crossroads’ now and some have suggested they are not dazzled by the names of the obvious contenders for the position however, that worry could not be used as an excuse to allow the current situation to carry on..
For Justin, it is a new challenge and one he needs to address wisely. In some respects his situation reminds me a little of David O’Leary…initially unheralded then in quick succession, a breath of fresh air, a media (and supporters) darling who ultimately seemed to become increasingly wary of accepting advice (almost as if accepting that advice was a sign of weakness) and a man who ultimately disappeared from the higher echelons of the game.
If Justin does stay in the SL I fear a potentially great coaching career might not come to fruition.
Get to the NRL and learn a little more about the trade and there is every opportunity to fulfil your potential.

No matter what I have said recently I will never forget that JM as well as NH got us back in the top league of RL in this country. Yes things have gone a bit stale and JM has recently seemed to start to struggle getting the best out of his players/get us out of a downward spiral and so yes it is probably time to call it a day but if you read this Justin don't for one second think that makes me view you as anything but a saint in my eyes.
You will rightly forever be remembered as the coach who did what no other coach could do and that was get up back with the big boys and give us our dignity back.

When I first started supporting this club in the early eighties I thought that we would be the best team in the world forever.
Ten years ago I'd more or less given up hope of us ever being any good again.
This is a really sad day, Justin Morgan has been an absolute saviour of our club. We are now an established super league side, not even close to being in the debate about losing our licence.
Thank you Justin for helping me to rediscover my love for Hull Kingston Rovers, there have been many incredible memories over the last six years but if I had to choose one it would be winning in Perpignan on Bastille Day, 2007. We travelled there with little hope of winning and ended up partying as a club.
Good luck, thank you and the very best wishes for your future success and happiness.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
