I seem to remember Beswick playing very well against Cas in the past but the rest of the time he was very average. He's gradually fell down the ladder to, Wigan then Widnes and now fax. I cant see Bob ever making a good Hooker or Loose in Super League again, his game lacks consistency.



Obviously it appears we have egg on our faces in terms of how were playing this year but Bob just didnt do it for me. His other half is also a pain in the .

Just out of interest, I have noticed that Bob's missus gets some stick on here from Widnes 'fans' an a regular basis. Just wondered why?



Only time I seen her was away at Whitehaven, didn't talk to her but was easy to work out it was Bob's other half.

Totally disagree with Vikingman, I'm gutted Beswick left. He's definately capable of playing at SL level. He didn't have the greatest of years last season, but is still top quality in the Championship.

I agree with you and posted at the time that he was a loss.



Frustrating when he tries to do too much (like the famous kicking game) but a very classy player at this level.



There seem to be some very strange people on here if they seriously believed Patto for all his endeavour was a better option at LF for this year.

As I posted on TIW I dont think he is going to make or break your year for you.

He does seem to be made of the same type of biscuits as the 2003 Ryan McDonald.

I think BB had such a poor 2008 by his own very high standards that he needed to move on. He'd been carrying us along with Smithy and I think the pressure got to him, and I'm not convinced he was fully fit.



That said, I didn't think he was the stand-out player for Fax against us.

He didn't impress in the early part of the season but he has got better with every game.

Anybody who thinks Patterson is a better player than BB is seriously deluded.



He had a poor season last year but is a major loss from our squad without a shadow of a doubt.



Another poor descision in Ste Mc recruitment policy, along with Noone.
