It has gone beyond a joke now, I can't see the game recovering, the NRL is far superior, interesting that it is Warrington and Leeds in favour of changes.
Any GF win this year means nothing.

You’re only saying that because you don’t think FC have a chance. The powers that be have done one hell of a job to get the season done, including the clubs, Toronto apart. Catalans travelling back and forth and even staying in England for a spell. FC took a right hammering when they went down with Covid but since then every club have suffered the effects. Credit we’re credit is due. I hope FC get a crack at it, might surprise a few, especially if the Watson rumours true. |

I actually think it might be a sensible solution to keep season & the game itself alive.
As long as they make a firm decision and explain the reasoning behind it and stick to it I don’t think anyone can complain.
Everyone involved in the game have done a great job to keep the season but if it needs an extended playoff then I don’t have an issue with it in what is a exceptional season.

That would be absolutely ridiculous and make the game a laughing stock to casual sports fans. Its already hard enough to explain the near annual changes to format.
Also mid table sides like ours havent been consistently good enough to be Champions, we've had a better few weeks but we cant gloss over the heavy defeats earlier in the year.
I would however see the benefit of cancelling completely dead rubber games should both sides agree.

RL would be dead and buried by now without the huge efforts being made by clubs and the RFL and, in particular, the full support of Sky. |
