After rapturous applause and a rendition of old faithful for our and their former player Charlie Stone, the hairs on the back of my neck were up.

Alas what followed after our warm welcome to Fev super clubhouse and even the attendance of Gary Hetherington as an onlooking fan I presume, was no less than Neanderthal, from ineptitude by the usual suspects, in this case “mickeymouseflopper” the game turned into a throwback to days of yore, with thuggery from Fev going unpunished, and dumb footie from Burita getting his deserved marching orders and a dead cert ban, after the game was done.
As we left the ground to board our coach, no stewards directing traffic, and consequently the mayhem that followed as the coaches were delayed exit due to no organisation, absolute madness. As we winded our way home bloodied and victorious the sights of the snarling flat cappers “waving” to us was akin to a scene from Deliverance. One Fev supporter said to me on exit, tha may get to Wembley again, but thee will remember playing Fev, yes I said we will, but unfortunately for all the wrong reasons.

This reminds me of the classic Blackadder scene...

Captain Darling:
So you see, Blackadder, Field Marshall Haig is most anxious to eliminate all these German spies.

General Melchett:
Filthy hun weasels, fighting their dirty underhand war!

Captain Darling:
And fortunately, one of our spies...

General Melchett:
Splendid fellows, brave heroes risking life and limb for Blighty!

If it'd been a weekend game I think the goalposts might have been a target. :CURTAIN:

Think there were a few blows exchanged but Griffin's was the only one that landed with a clenched fist, the others were more like pushes. Shame really as he was very good last night and the game was over when it happened.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Pretty much sums up what most fans have been saying about the standard of officiating and the decline in standards and an increase in arrogance under Gansons tenure.

What was an eye opener was the fact that Chris Campbell a totally inexperienced ref was given the position of refereeing coach yet Silverwood (whatever we think of him) is a very experienced ref yet doesn't even get interviewed. That to me smacks of Ganson surrounding himself with yes men and the RFL are culpable for letting this happen. Think Ganson has proved he is not doing a good job at all and should be removed form his position.

No point trying to promote the game to a wider audience when they are destroying it from within.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The GF is a pipe dream - we are way too inconsistent
The CC is a 4 round knockout and that’s our limit under the curent
coaching set up
We do it well and as I love the CC more than the GF then I’ve been a very very happy and grateful man

We were caught out too many times out wide v Fev
How does a muppet Championship winger get 2 flying tries and Hock stroll in out wide ?
Reminded me of the Wigan in The Gong throwing it out wide
Then Leeds at KC used it very effectively just to make meters down
the field

Anyways just too inconsistent to win a 29 round Comp as when we’re bad we are just too far apartment from when we are red hot

I have lost interest

I thought the same that we were getting caught out too easily, but then it dawned on me that Hadley was in the centre. It's arguably the hardest position on the pitch to defend. He's used to defending more inside so if his instincts kick in and he drifts inside just a slight bit then it causes all sorts of problems out wide.
