| I'd say Carlos is right up there; certainly as good as anything we have in Super League. He is a superb player who never shirks his load , even when we are on the end of a hiding he keeps going with a great attitude. He is defensively very good and reads the game so well and his attacking prowess is so unappreciated but he is easily the most consistent player we have on our books and I am really pleased he is committed for a long time, he'd be very hard to replace and I wouldn't swap him for any other SL centre, in my opinion he is as good as Percival, who is aalways good centre, and Gildart as he is always at least a 7 out of 10 and often higher,

| Quote pmarrow="pmarrow"They had Mark O meley as one of our top 5 SL signings over Fitz, Manu, Mini and Sneyd.
They also posted an article on ranking a teams first season in SL and used our 99 season instead of 98.
Take what it says with a pinch of salt.'"
I agree. O'Meley was good but did not have a bigger impact than those who you mentioned. In respect of props Watts, Taylor, Moa and Paea (first spell) were better in my opinion and who can forget Hutch Maiava...

Carlos is silky and can defend.
Griffin has go forward but poor defence

| Quote Dave K.="Dave K."Get away, he is one of the best centres in the, who is better, easily in the top 3? I can't think of another SL centre I'd swap him for based on ability, consistency and attitude.
Judging his ability in the NRL is tough, as it's a massive step up, look at the top SL players who have gone there and failed to make an impact.
I think the lack of position when he was younger didn't help him, I think he would do well in the NRL now as a centre, looking he is happy at Hull, massively underrated player outside of our club.'"
I'd have Inglis, Naijama, Percival, Gildart and Tupou in front of Carlos ( Think Ricky Luetele ) will end up been one the best once he gets in to gear
Carlos is a great player just think he lacks that proper xfactor in attack to be a very top centre
Also he was 23 when he came over not 16!

I don’t get the love-in for Inglis. He’s 34 and not played for 2 years. If we’d have signed him a lot on here would have had plenty to say about it.
Also, who said Carlos was 16? The comment was he played at 1 and 6.

No offence to Reynolds but our fans are getting excited over him and he's only a 4 cap origin goer
Compared to inglis who's one of the best and a true world class superstar(I think our fans would of had white stuff if we signed him! )
Reynolds hasn't played much last 2 years either but doesn't stop our fans from thinking he's one of the best
Hope Reynolds is better than Kelly was for us but I'm not convinced he will be

| Tui and Griffin are both good players but neither are brilliant players - neither score enough tries in a season to make us title contenders like the Wigan or Saints centres do

To be fair, our centres don't get as much good ball as Wigan or Saints centre's do

I think Josh Reynolds is a very good fit for us at the moment, he will probably spark that inventiveness which has been somewhat lacking in the past, especially twenty or so yards out.
Admittedly it was only against York, but he was up and down the line like Greg Mackey or Patrick Entat, good times predicted with the Sneyd/Connor/Reynolds combination.
You say Reynolds is only a four cap origin goer, we’ve come along way if that accolade isn’t good enough.
Undoubtedly the great Inglis is a mega superstar, but he has done it all, and his reasons for not playing the last two seasons may be about desire, I think Reynolds still has something to prove, and hopefully he will do that with us.
Regarding Albert and the similar comparison, I think we probably released him at the right time, he was fantastic when fit, a gifted maverick who was individually brilliant, perhaps what we now need rather than ex superstars like Inglis, or injury prone greats like Albert, is a guy like Reynolds, still hungry for the game.

Signing a 4 cap origin is "how far weve come" what!?
I'd say its how far down us and super league has gone
Wasn't that long ago we was signing international star players like Jason Smith, Stephen Kearney and Richard swain
Now were lucky if we get a origin player

It may of escaped your attention, but the game is in dire financial stress at present, with numerous owners admitting the perilous situation. I’m thankful we still have a club to support,
And to replace one class half with another, is blooming marvellous. Then again I suppose you can please some of the people, some of the time, as they say.

Exactly under the previous coaching we never utilised the players to their strengths or had any real attacking structures to play the edges, invariably the centres were used like temporary forwards to give front row a breather. We never got quick enough ball to the edges and even when Pritchard was here we wasted his talent by simply using him as an extra prop. I think under Hodgson we will see Sneyd and Reynolds being a much more influential pairing who will create a lot more opportunities for the backs. Hopefully gone are the days simply relying on a maverick play and kicks to the corner and we will now have the opposition 2nd and 3rd guessing our attacking line to create openings.
