And yet Tui is the best defensive centre we've had in a long time. Maybe Talanoa just can't help himself (seems the case to me)

Imagine how good Logan and others would be if the coach had played them when they showed early promise(in Logan's case over 2 years ago) instead of bringing in players and putting their development back massively.
Logan showed what we've been missing, someone with genuine pace, if Connor is back to centre next week then I expect Logan will be there with him as I think FB needs at least another week.
And as predicted whilst Talanoa has done well at times his defence is all over the shop, when FB is fit I hope Radford seriously considers giving Logan a run.

| Not sure what he could do for Briscoe's try, had a 2 on 1 to defend. Great work out the backfield too. Great to be in a position here we have 3 high quality wingers. Thought Brad Fash was outstanding last night as he was against Warrington.

What do you mean if the coach had played them when they showed early promise??
Radford, the coaching staff and club in general have changed the whole set up of the club in terms of youth and opportunities for them.
Logan replaced Yeaman but unfortunately made some errors and Yeaman came back in then he unfortunately had a long time on the sidelines with injury and has rightly not been rushed back.
Its a very fine line as to when and how to blood young players as no matter how much potential they show you can also destroy them in a very short period of time if you get it wrong.
Radford has shown he is very much about promoting youth with the emergence of Logan, Fash, Matongo (and even Jordan Lane last night) along with how he dealt with Shaul, Hadley and Abdul and how the likes of Green and Bowden have come on under his tenure as Coach.

Good post, everyone but one person can see what a great job Radford is doing with the young players, just one poster with his vast coaching experience and watching a player a couple of times knows more than Radford who is an experience, very successful coach who says these players nearly every day.

No he just has a brain storm.Does the same thing time after time
He is like Minichello defense is not their strong points.
Carlos Tuimavave is not only one of the best centres in Super League but also has great defence. The problem is he is in the middle of Talanoa and Mini.
Put Someone like Dean Hadley on that side and we wouldnt concede so many tries.

Yeah imagine allowing players to develop at their own pace rather than throwing them into the top level when they're not ready

Tuimavave's game seems to have really gone up a notch this season IMO. Looks stronger, quicker and more composed in attack and defence. if only we could get quick, quality ball to him and griffin they would do well
