I thought barring the daft sin-binning, Talanoa did alright. Won us a few penalties coming out of our own half with strong and quick wrestling in the ruck. Wakefield's tactic seemed to be to slow Hull down, and it worked. Like Jake said though, we got the two points and we can move on.
I don't believe that any professional sportsman would be happy with failure. The team has a chance of doing the double, possibly even the treble, and the players will want to succeed. We played pretty good against Wigan and got nothing, and played pretty terrible against Wakey and won. It evens out and even if we had beaten Wigan last week, we could still have found ourselves having to win next week to secure the LLS. Granted, it would have been in our hands, rather than waiting in other results.
