Really? Whats Ainscough done to deserve being dropped? Phelps in the reserve curtain raiser I say!

Think Ainscough is struggling with a dead leg.

Oh well in that case I'd go with Pryce before Phelps.

Looked in good shape last Saturday in the reserve match.

If Ainscough is genuinely injured, it couldn't have come at a worse time. The kids was running on pure adrenaline. It would be a real shame.

He took a knock when chasing a kick during the Bradford game, although he managed to play the remainder of the game! So he should be ok.

I've deleted the game now but I tought at the time that it looked suspiciously like a trip/kick from Platt. Damn these cherry n white specs!

If Ainscough isn't fit then I can see Nobby putting Phelps on the wing. No point in moving the team round anymore than is needed considering we now look like we've started to get our act together with the squad we had last week.

Personally I think Phelps is a better winger than he is a centre, too weak to break the line and doesn't tackle up enough to be effective in the centres. However in his one or two performances on the wing he was better.

However if Pryce is fit I'd sooner see him given the chance outside of a top centre like Carmont. As far as I remember (I could be wrong) his only time in the first team is teaming with Goulding.

Isn't it refreshing to have some depth to the squad now?
