If Ainscough isn't fit then I can see Nobby putting Phelps on the wing. No point in moving the team round anymore than is needed considering we now look like we've started to get our act together with the squad we had last week.
Personally I think Phelps is a better winger than he is a centre, too weak to break the line and doesn't tackle up enough to be effective in the centres. However in his one or two performances on the wing he was better.
However if Pryce is fit I'd sooner see him given the chance outside of a top centre like Carmont. As far as I remember (I could be wrong) his only time in the first team is teaming with Goulding.
