There were maybe 700/800 people at Trailfinders yesterday. No, I didn't count them but both "stands" were sply populated and IMHO, Wakefield had about 350 fans at the game.

I've yet to see an announced gate for yesterday, but there's not a snowballs it was 4 figures......so if i am incorrect, it'll be by a few dozen, but in no way shape or form am I exaggerating.

Whatever you suggest Gutters DH isn't going to go anywhere near any brewery or anyone else who might help draw a crowd.

I mean it would be a great idea, something along the lines of Skolars Friday Night Lights - but it won't happen.

Talking of Skolars, wouldn't Saturday have been a good day for a double header? They're in good from this season with a few LB loanees and a few LB old boys.

Beats me why there isn't a curtain raiser at every home game. Be it a double header, academy or junior side, why would the club not take advantage of the 4G pitch and attract people in earlier.

We all know the club won't do anything to promote that game. They sent one tweet last week offering season ticket holders of London football clubs £10 entry for the Wakefield game. But did they actually do anything with that offer? Did they contact those clubs, or supporters clubs, or fan websites, or anything else to publicise that offer? Of course not. The sum total of that offer was one tweet. Even when they have an idea they don't do anything with it.

It's pathetic really, a total waste of an opportunity to try and rebuild the fan base.

The crowds are disappointed we do have send real on are marketing. But crowds are down across the league I think.

And i know the sport has very little money in it but we have go to a 14 team superleague. These loop fixtures are crazy and don't help attendances in general

You are bang on with loop fixtures, we should play home and away in normal league. Then accept what happens in play offs.

We are still in situation where teams can end up playing each other 5 times in a season

I have to agree that loop fixtures are ridiculous.
