With SL being so close this year and with most teams capable of beating any other, is there any game that you really think "we won't win that" apart from the obvious? By this I mean in years gone by when we'd go Bradford you'd expect us to lose, the same with Leeds and formerly Wigan away. I am in no way suggesting we're unbeatable or going to go on a record breaking run to the GF, but their isn't any game that really scares me?

I rather we beat St Helens before we started saying we can beat anyone on our day

I get what your saying but i don't think i'm quite there yet...I still feel we have a bit to go...And i am quite nervous about this Saturdays game...

I'm in the same boat as you on this. I feel great after every game of late and look forward to the next, however, I just have a little niggle in my stomach regarding this one on Saturday. Discipline will be the key to success at KR. We have that winning ability and mental toughness to come from behind if required. We will need a big showing all over the field. Mathers inspires me with confidence.

Lets just settle down guys, we are no where near that stage yet, however i do belive Smith will get us there within the next 18 months.

i am nervous most weeks but that adds to the enjoyment if we win

yep me too.its good people are now feeling we can win something but i just have this feeling that a hammering is around the corner and it will all come crashing back down to earth like it has done in the past. im not sayin this will be on sat but i can see it happening.

I don't get scared of games, just with the big ones I get more nervous than I normally would.

My feelings too. I'm 'expecting' this to be yet another Wire false dawn and that it will all go wrong in spectacular fashion anytime soon! Just how happy will I be when I'm proved oh so wrong...

It could be more scary in some respects.
I agree that if you look at the fixtures, you could reasonably think, well we could get a win there - with any fixture.
On the other hand, you could equally say, we could get turned over in that game - for any fixture (and I include Celtic away in that).

I'm actually looking forward to the Saints Game .......its a few weeks off and we've got some very winnable games between now and then
Cas(a) Bradford(h) Catalan(a) Hull(h) and Celtic(a)
(Cas Away probably a banana skin)...

but if we can maintain our defensive performance and hopefully in a couple of those games score a few points to get our attacking game back up to spec I'd be quietly confident ......

The presence of one L. Briers on the field makes a huge difference to the level of optimism I feel going to any game. It shouldn't do, but I'm afraid it does.

Funny you should say this, the closer the game get's the more you think about it and the more nervous you get, i'd say it's natural. [size=59just to make you feel better[/size

I know what people are saying about not fearing any team (Apart from the obvious). I have a belief in TS that I have never had in any coach before going back to the mid eighties. I am a real cynic and for me to buy into this new regime takes some doing. Imagine what impact he is having on the players. I know one swallow doesn't make a summer and all that but he could make some real dubious signings and I would not argue against it.

The fella is a mind trick playing Jedi. I wonder if he waves his hand during his pre game speaches in a "these aren't the droids your looking for" kinda way.

Having said all that we still have the ability to throw games away.
