For those who seen last night, Marwan tweeted that Harris and Vickers were working late on securing a new signing.



Whilst I don't know a name, I am told it would be a big signing from another Super League club that would be worthy of making a song and dance about.



Any ideas?

I thought it would be Gil Dudson, but i've just seen Neil Barker's tweet that it's not him so i have no idea. Someone spouted out John Bateman the other day but can't see that happening.

According to the font of all RL knowledge, Barker says it's someone who can play in the pack or 3/4.

Barker now hinting at Joe Westerman, can't see it being him though, plus I don't recall him playing in the 3/4's



If Mike87 is right and he did mean to say 'Wigan' and not 'Wing' then Tony Clubb, is probably the only person it could be?



Someone has also thrown Michael Lawrence into the mix.

Westerman's name has floated around for a while without substance, but he doesn't fit the bill on this one. Clubb seems favorite and he would be a decent addition. Not sure about Lawrence. Can we not have all three?

If they're hopeful of having the signing completed next week, would it be correct to assume said player is currently on holiday following international duties and returns either weekend or early next week?

Someone told me John Bateman had been linked with us last week but I highly doubted it. This sounds like Michael Lawrence to me IF Koukash did intend to say 'WING'. If he meant to say 'Wigan' I have to presume its Tony clubb as he was a centre before moving to prop and Wigan have a surplus of Props.



Id be happy with Clubb, not so happy with Lawrence though.

99% certain Lawrance is a back rower and not a winger ... I think you're thinking of Jermaine McGilvery ...

maybe Mark Flanagan? Got an obsession Marwan hasn't he all things Wigan. With him saying played at Wing i take that as either he played on the Wing or he played for Wigan. If the later presuming he no longer plays for Wigan it can't be that long of a list.

No, you're wrong. Lawrence has played wing on more than one occasion, especially earlier in his career.
