I don't think there's any intent to do that. He doesn't drop onto the legs, the injury is his knee hitting Cooper's calf as it's planted, not from Knowles dropping his weight onto him deliberately. I don't think Knowles deliberately drops either, he's still on his feet after the injury and it's caused by the rotation and the entry of Lussick from the side.
Just been told on Twitter the injury is potentially very serious, so wish him well. |

Hip drop on Morgan Knowles at 36.23 on the clock. It's a textbook hip drop that one in terms of technique but Knowles isn't held by anyone so just goes down and doesn't get hurt. |

To be fair this season so far is like when Kim Jong-Un tries golf and the national TV news declares he set a course record, or when Putin enters a marathon and Russian state TV declares he won it.
With Saints being tied up in ropes by the RFL and their junta, I just hope Warrington win it and ruin the RFL's Leeds v Wigan final fantasy. |
