| Some great numbers so far in round1:
11k at Wire
8.5k at Leigh
10k at Rovers
Hull are on for our highest non Derby crowd since 2010 tomorrow (aiming at 14k)
Unsure on Wakefield but their ground is a building site and Catalans of course means no away fans so hard to judge their crowd for now.
Was honestly expdcting a drop due to the cost of living and this years feels like a bit of filler before the IMG changes so its a pleasant surprise.

I agree - Wakefield was over 4k which was around 25% up on last year.
Wigan's season ticket sales up 10% so hoping for another year on year increase in attendances there.
All of a sudden with reports of increased interest from broadcasters, game days feeling like big events and Saints winning the WCC - there's maybe a break in the clouds in British RL.

| Channel 4 coverage is another plus.
They do a better job than both Sky and the BBC.
Turning the games into "events" will certainly help to attract new fans.

Agree they are a breath of fresh air and I hope they get an increased number of games in the next deal. Whether their coverage has led to more SKY viewers is the key part though, SKY still hold the cards

| Attendance today was 15,383 - Hull's biggest non derby attendance for almost six years and biggest for an opening home fixture since 2005. Great effort.

| Shout out to Bradford with the 5th largest crowd of the weekend in all divisions. 4800 despite how gash we are, is comforting.

That's undeniably a decent crowd for a Championship side, but I suspect they would be sixth largest crowd if Trinity did not have a reduced capacity due to only having half a stadium, and seventh if it also wasnt WCC weekend. I'm led to believe that the home allocation were sold out at Wakefield.
Can anyone confirm that Belle Vue is limited to 4,000 at the minute?

The attendance last Fri was just short of 4,100
The North stand was at reduced capacity and was sold out.
The temporary South Stand was sold out.
The western terrace was pretty packed so I can't see many more fitting in there.

I thought our crowds might have fallen this season. Please to see them still above 4k. Hopefully we get a decent home tie in the Cup as well.

Out of interest, how much were tickets on match day?

Not sure but I'd imagine £28 for adults behind the sticks (South Stand and North Stand).
East Stand and West Stand were sold out pre game.
