Next year the club states there will be a temporary North Stand while all the work is carried out

Wonder how it'll all work.

Its put our lot who go to games in a right predicament. One of our mates wants a ST but doesn't currently have one. We've no idea where to renew ours to give him the best chance of being stood with us!

No chance of him getting in the South Stand. I actually think the whole ground will be ST members.

Is it only me that thinks they are taking the p..s!
Renew before 5th Nov on a first come basis,mmm!so if for any reason you can,t don,t you could be allocated a poor seat after being a member in same seat for a zillion years!
Temporary stand?covered?ok for anybody getting on in years?who knows!
And then to cap it all,if you ,because of health/mobility reasons do not renew for 2018 then you are at the back of the queue for 2019 and the brand spanking new stand having put up with the old stand for the aforementioned zillion years!
Final nail!Against better judgement went online to renew "online ticketing temporarily suspended"ffs!

Understandably the club is trying to keep up a reasonable revenue stream whilst work is in progress. Unfortunately it's a construction contractors nightmare, trying to keep things going safely and deliver the project ontime and within the budget.
Have been in construction virtually all my working life , looking forward to see how this project works out. Must confess it looks an extremely daunting project. Especially keeping the fans happy.

Big screen in the cricket ground anyone?

still think bigger games at elland road. just a shame there is not another 15k plus ground available to us in say wakey or bradford for a year. the wakey ground at newmarket would have been ideal for us.

I've at last been able to renew my season ticket.
What nobody has commented on is that the cost has gone up by nearly 15%!!!
Without any mention of this from the club.

I've just realised that the cost quoted does not include the 10% discount through being a Leedsline member.
I'll need to now contact the office to make sure that I get the discount taken off the DD.

i also work in construction and like you a temporary stand with rebuilding is different, although Liverpool built there new main stand over and around the old one, thus ensuring a revenue stream.
worked on the new huge greenhouses on thorner lane recently and my contact was a Mr J Child!
actually a decent guy and we had a good chat about reffing albeit different sports

The new Tottenham football stadium is an interesting project. They built one half of the new stadium adjacent to the existing one which they have demolished. They are now working to complete on a tight schedule. Obviously spurs are playing away until the project is finished. Plenty of pressure on the builder to complete on schedule. Should imagine the overrun penalties will be astronomical.

My Carnegie standing ticket has been £216 for the last 3 seasons, renewed 2 tickets last night in under 10 mins via the website.
So no problems for me this year.



But 15% does seem a lot, has it really gone up by £20-30?

Does anyone know how big this temp northstand will be,first come first serve it says so unless its the same size as now people will be missing out.

Supply and demand market forces.... Reduced capacity = increased demand = price rise opportunity

And for those who were not season ticketed members this year, you've to pay £15 to basically become a temporary member to put you on the 'first come, first serve' reserve list for a season ticket...

Does it make business sense... of course... Is it profiteering, not officially, but kind of...

Just checked and my South Stand Season Ticket has been £216 for past couple of years too.

No change in the price of mine. Great value.

Renewed on Tuesday with no price increase - can't complain at £216 for the year... just hope my 5yr old being 2nd on the waiting list gives us a chance of him getting to games!
Guessing I'll have to move to the Carnegie from South stand if he gets offered one... tho I could always just meet him at 1/2time!?!

South Stand season tickets won't make it to new members I'm afraid. They'll all be snapped up by current Southstanders

The above was utter rubbish.
My post above did not include my 5% Leedsline discount & to then compound matters I assumed that there were 11 payments when there are 12.
Taking account of all that there's been no increase in the cost of my season ticket.

I asked about sitting in Carnegie as opposed to standing as I expect it will be a tad busy next season and was told they had all been sold! Not a seat to be had!

There was only 800 south stand tickets left on Friday morning too. They'll all be snapped up soon enough. I think we will be full capacity ST holders next year
