The next 6 games are vital to our season. We have Huddersfield who just walloped Catalans away in the cup. Hull FC who are in complete disarray, London at home, Catalans away, St Helens away and Cas at home. I expect us to win 3 (Hull FC, London and Cas) and lose 3 (Hudds, Catalans and Saints) leaving us with a P13, W7, L6 record and probably just hanging onto the pack chasing 5/6th place. Anything worse than this as Smith should be removed, same if we don’t achieve 4th or better by the end of the season. We have a squad that should be no worse than 4th, and were currently sat 8th, with no sensible or recognisable way of defending or attacking.

Although I really don't think Smith will be sacked mid-season, regardless of where we are.
The club may be planning for a change at the end of the season, but not a lot of point removing him halfway through as we won't be relegated.
Pretty depressing that we fully expect to get beaten at home by Hudds.

And there's something very wrong if we don't win all 3 of the games you highlighted.

If we lose to hudds at home smith needs to be packing his bags.

Assuming they had a tough game physically against Catalans and a few battered bodies and we will have had 2 weeks to recover from niggles no excuse this time for anything other than a win at home

Short of us finishing in next to last place he will stay I think.

If we reach above 8th it will be the usual backslapping congrats/ paper over the cracks regarding performances.

The start of the season has been pretty woeful, with lots of call back behaviour/antics that were so dysfunctional last year.

Fingers crossed we start to string some wins together,will only get harder

Sorry but beating Hull , London and Cas will not satisfy most of us , we need to win at least one of the other three

Tactics or whatever, we need to have spent this time off genuinely trying to fix up what's going wrong. If we don't change the way we play we'll keep getting the same sort of results. I would have more faith that Rohan knows what he's doing even if we lose against Hudds if it looks like some of the issues we keep seeing seem to have been addressed, or at least improved.

Listening to GH’s interview with sky, he clearly sees our current state very differently to most of us. Apparently all the indicators on his dashboard look positive including our best crop of young players for 20 years, apparently we should have a good team in 3-5 years.

He made it clear he has no intention of retiring.

We are heading for an 8th year out of 9 in finishing outside the top 4. I said it last year and will say it again he is way past his sell by date and Caddick needs to get him to stand down. .Sainst and Wigan would have got shut years ago.

There is no plan or idea on how we may replace Smith if this season is another disappointment.

We will hear more tripe about a worldwide search, if Smith fails GH should go.
