It would be nice if we could come out of the blocks firing from the start this week and not take 40 minutes to get going in attack. Our players particular 1.6.7.9 need to take the game by the scruff of the neck and not give whitehaven a sniff the more of a individual threat these players are the more joy we will have when we put the ball threw the hands. And it will reward all the good work being done by our outside backs and fowards who get us in good attacking positions. I will go for a fax win 40-10.

So no springer or bourouh this week but it is good to see larroyer and mcgrath back. If barber is fit he would play for me if not i would try rawsthorne at with mcgrath on the wing and mcomb to miss out. At hooker will brandon do the 80 or will curtis davies get a chance for me i would give him a go this week i think we are at the stage now were we need to know one way or the other can curtis or connor in the backrow get the job done if not they need to be playing more regular for there own good and maybe its time for them to move on.

Grix's interview suggests Brandon playing with an injury - if so makes it even harder to fathom why he's doing 80 minutes most weeks when we have hooker available on the bench. If fit I would definitely bring Barber in at centre - I know most of the team weren't playing well st the start of the season but wasn't impressed with Rawsthorne at centre - his performances do seem to have picked up over last few weeks so I'd keep him in preference to Mcgrath.

Once again our defence was outstanding with another zero tries conceded and we stuck at it to finally get our noses out in front.

Main area of concerns were not completing again with the cheap turnovers regularly inviting Haven back on the attack.

Looked a tired performance but again defence superb. Certainly missed the impact of Springer and Bourough but a week off will do us a load of good. Haven will stay up if they can produce that performace against some of the weaker teams in the division. I think they too defended really well and have a few players who caused us a lot of trouble.

It was one of those games you were glad to come through and win. Looking back, yes ‘haven only only scored 2 penalties but they came very close on many occasions. We defended well, especially on the line but at any moment ‘haven could have scored. A lot of coughed up ball and unforced errors by us.

Yet we looked strong, I thought there was some confusion in direction when we where near their line it it’s now 6 wins in a row and we should celebrate that. When was the last time we won 6 in a row? A break now that will do us good and 4th in the league. Up the Panthers!
