| If there's any player I'd like us to sign from Harlequins, it's that Luke Dorn -
he's looked really impressive since his come back from injury and inspired them to two excellent victories. Surely he could inspire our team to great things too...

Quote ="Fatboys Limb"Ah, the annual "We're going to sign Danny Orr thread".
Wouldn't mind seeing him at the Willows in a similar role to the one Robbie Paul had. />
What's his link to the club? Are his family season tickets holders or something??'"
His Dad Paul Orr did play for the club and his mother comes from Salfod.

| Never been a consistent enough player, did well & made his name at Cas, went to Wigan where he never settled, moved on to Quins, been there 4 years & been a mediocre player. You could probably say he has had 10/15 standout games there + his age, WHY go for him?????

[iDanny Orr was real force at Castleford Tigers and when he moved to Wigan things did not goes his way, plus he had a knee inury which did not help his cause one bit.
/>
His move down to Capital saw him recapture some of his old form and I can fully understand him wanting to return back up North now.
/>
Now if he does become a Salford City Reds player next season I think he would be an ideal partner for young Stefan Ratchford at half-back but the problem is Ratchford could be on his way out of the Willows at the end of this season if you believe everything you here these days and the same could also be said for Holdsworth.
/>
Anyway time will tell and if Orr does become a Reds player I for one would wish him all the luck in the world my only regret is that we should have signed him many years agao when he first left Castleford for Wigan.

| Why are Salford even contemplating 33 yo players with a History of injuries? Hope its just `paper talk`.
Reg Holdsworth has shown that you get what you pay for. For me instead of having 4/5 Antipodeans I would move for 3 quality - under 30 - TOP players.
For instance - Purdham (although admittedly recently injured) would be a far better bet than Orr.

Not bothered who we sign so long as the person was born down-wind of Seascale. Going from reports on here of players leaving, we need a person with 13 heads, 26 arms (and very fast and strong) as he'll be the only player we have.
/>
[size=85and he'll be injured first game[/size
