Post-match appreciation of fans is a tricky one when we've been beated heavily - if the players trudge off, heads hung, or storm off in anger/frustration then they get criticised for not acknowledging the fans; if they come over to clap the crowd they get abuse and comments like "[iCheeky gets, coming over to us, expecting us to clap them after that[/i?!"



As a fan, I'm not sure which one I prefer. Equally, I don't really care to be honest. Whether a player comes over to clap at me after a game is definitely NOT a factor that I would consider when deciding whether I thought he deserved a new contract or not?!

I think when aussies first come over there abit shocked with the change of fans. In oz you get alot more fans but they dont really have an atmosphere and just go to 'watch the footie'. In Sl although theres less fans were more vocal. He was propably upset of the booing and understandibly so, but the reason you dont get that in oz is because their not as passionate as we are over here imo

Although I reckon there is a good chance of it re-appearing if we get slapped again vs saints.

I just don't really care about this season now, its a nothing season and next season will be our last ever in super league IMO.
