Was anyone else hoping something drastic would happen on the pitch whilst he was being interviewed to see how reacted whilst miked up?

I doubt Shaun McRae would ever turn anyone down either.

In Brazilian football they run on and interview players as they're being stretchered off. You might get some good answers then..."Do you have a message for the man who just broke your leg?"

I'm sure Mr. Peg wouldn't have started the thread if it had been Tony Smith who had been interviewed.





Anyway, as for as being a 'media whore' he should take all the money he can whilst it's available, I'm sure a certain coach would love the odd extra pay day knowing that he will soon be working in the Glasshoughton McDonalds!!!
